Shattering glass
Missing someone is like shattering glass
something once so clear, so beautiful, now gone
The broken glass on the floor stares at you
the precious memories you have, the only things that sustain you
remember what the glass once was, how much you took for granted
Because the glass is shattered does not mean you don't appreciate
the happy times you once had
Time is ticking as you try so hard to grasp onto the memories
appreciate the wonderful times you had
But oh, how you wish you could go back
Missing someone is like shattering glass
