The Monster's Bidding
We all cared,
I most of all,
but even I couldn't change a thing,
I couldn't take her away from the monster,
the monster that bid her,
just another scratch,
just another slice,
the monster would call,
and she would respond,
those porcelain hands that held the blade,
and sliced a bit too deep,
only that finally quieted the monster.
But, now there she lies,
forever young,
in a coffin
lined with unfulfilled dreams,
and unknown potentials.

This is what worries me, on of my best friends cut, today she was hurting badly, she got worked up over a fight with her bf, and a different guy she liked, messing around making her upset. i fear if she doesnt stop the monster inside her that bid her cut, will devour her whole. That kind of inspired me to write this.
