Shall I surrender my will to the waves? There seems to be a strange yet overwhelming ring to the submission of ones being to meet the grotesque clutches of quietus. A splash of liquid salt pervades the bubble I occupy. A cool current transcends, dragging me below its wight. The seabed beneath transforms, leaving a gaping hole for me to fall into, leisurely, carelessly sinking into an unnatural state. At the bottom, if I ever should reach it, there will be an escort awaiting my arrival. A guide to lead me down a treacherous pathway, one surrounded by all that is found glorious in the conscious world on earth. However, the everlasting colors of the rainbow will disappear, fading away to gray, shattering into dust. My mind will flutter throughout extemporizing options for survival but my soul shall remain there, recalcitrant.
If I ever should reach the bottom, I’ll bypass the escort, and directly make my way into oblivion.
