Favorite Quote:
A writer’s brain is full of little gifts, like a piñata at a birthday party. It’s also full of demons, like a piñata at a birthday party in a mental hospital.

Drops fall, these tears
of glass shatter on skin, break
on flesh before
fingertips wipe away indelibility, they
bleed into the ground;

after

The fist strikes and bellows, when
solid air is smashed into
splinters and dust radiates
in waves of the
repercussions,
concussions;

while

The lightning forks through
the earth, just
a morsel about to be eaten, we
are divided. As
faith falls in the forest, I
listen for the sound.
