Dollhouse
In my school, I am a doll.
I wear what I'm told to wear.
I speak how they want me to speak.
I am not given a form of self expression.
I can't dress myself in a style I please.
I can't say what it is I'm thinking.
I spend my days in this dollhouse.
From the outside, it looks inviting.
On the inside, it's cold with plastic figures.
How can this place not be a dollhouse?
There's girls and boys with painted on smiles.
New dolls replace the old ones every year.
