I stand between two towns. I've been walking for a long time. I feel the ocean wind gnawing at my face. A writer would refer to this moment as a crossroads of sorts, two paths on which to travel. I suppose it is symbolic to choices. If I choose the right I am destined to have an easy life whereas if I dare to be bold and take the left option I face struggle and hardship. I need to make a decision that will affect the rest of my life.
Right?
No!
What if it doesn't mean that, all you pretentious poets and scholars? What if it means I am blessed. I have opportunities. Imagine a world in which the road less traveled by wasn't ever traveled at all, if there was only one road? There is no end. there are no smooth cemented paths. I will face crossroads for the rest of my life.
If I choose the right I may achieve my dream.
If I choose the left I may achieve something greater then that, I may accomplish a reality.
