On and on...

In a world where monkeys are given power
And men are given free will
On a land with no sign of guidance
Leaves only an instinct to kill.
Father blessed us all
With lives we can't adjust
For we just have to make the best
Out of what he's given us.
And yet time passes,
on and on,
seems as if forever,
but will soon be gone, I know.
Don't fret now, so young,
So much more to come
But with our lives in the hands of monkeys
Who knows what we've done.
