As I stood there in the rain
Tears staining my cheeks
I knew it wasn't worth it
As I stood there in the rain
Life my only crime
I knew I regretted it
As I stood there in the rain
With unborn cries in my ear
I knew I'd never forgive
As I stood there in the rain
A choice I never made
I knew I deserved more
As I stood there in the rain
Outside my murder chamber
I knew I never lived
As I stood there in the rain
I knew I was a life made a choice
I knew I had been cheated
I knew it was irreversible
So I stood there in the rain
