Confusion
August 20, 2014
We are lost generation,
Product of capitalism,
Time of stagnation,
Domination of big corporation,
Post fascism,
Hidden racism,
Fake humanism;
We come from time of great ideas,
Collecting medals and trophies,
Surrounded by classy criminals
Practiced liars and vandals;
Everybody thinks about their future only
What will happen tomorrow?
Tired of crowds, tired of being lonely
Not interested in other people's pain, just their own sorrow,
Part of them close their eyes,
Some close their hearts,
Others pretend to see as part of their disguise
And Children of Today are left just with all those
Why(?)'s

This is really good, I have to say. You did an excellent job of describing a generation lost. In many ways I think our generation is the new lost generation, everything's technology and it seems like originality is not important anymore. Not only is this poem original, it's descriptive and deep. Great job!
