the sun is such
a flighty thing-
not unlike your touch.
where is the light when darkness
swallows my bare skin
in a rush?
where is your voice,
when the silence serves me despair,
upon a silver plate, and hands me the fork?
where is your voice,
when Death taps me on the shoulder?
where is your voice,
when love becomes a second choice?
