The Kill
Little white bunny skidded through arctic-cold snow,
Sunrays embrace her illuminating wavy fur,
She breathes in the ice-freezing air, exhales warm-vapored purr,
A string of hope she sees, struts in an ecstatic blur,
The rabbit jumps into the string hope as she hoped,
Suddenly, something enveloped around her earlobes,
The string turned into a mechanical snake that constricted her destiny,
Now, hanging ten feet off the ground,
Dangling, tearing, the little rascal wailed, falling into a man-made play-around.
