i sit and i wait
for the thunder to bang on
the door of the sky
one two three four
five six seven eight
the sky lets him in
and he is angry
that it took so long
he erupts into a white hot
flash of aggression
that burns bright in the night
sky
the only thing that can quench its
angry thirst
are the tears of sky
she sheds an endless
wave that only
douses the inferno
for a few seconds
before it happens
all
over
again
