Time Could Run Out
Why is it that we wait until it’s too late to tell people how we feel?
To explain the feelings inside, open that seal
We don’t say anything because we’re afraid of what other people will think
We’re afraid that our ships will sink
We decide not to say anything at all
Because we’re afraid of the outcome
But then the next thing you know someone falls
And you think about all the things you’ve ever wanted to say to them
To tell them
The feelings one kept inside
But it’s too late
That person has met their fate
And now we regret keeping things to ourselves
We hid them when they should’ve been displayed openly on our shelf
We shouldn’t wait for time to run out
Instead our feelings should be something we’re not afraid to shout
