A Separate Yarn of Memory

Grandpa, though you are not here anymore,
I still miss you,
And I wonder why you’re not here anymore.
There was no special bond
between me and you,
but I will always cherish the memories
I have of you.
I regret that I have not woven stories
of us together;
because the memories I have of you,
has no me anywhere.
