Over the Clouds of Grey

I once wished upon a star before,
I wished for a chance of another open door.
And as I did I saw that star light,
it shined upon the dark night.
And so I wait for my love to get back home,
as I pray in the Church of Rome.
Later I looked over the clouds of grey,
and God himself said today's the day.
and as I looked across the river,
I saw you sad as you badly shiver.
She has come back I cheer with delight,
with you by me, our future will be bright.
