Why is it that we constantly run to our friends or neighbors with our problems when God is always there?
Why is it that we spill our hearts out to them and they really don’t care?
We have to exhaust all other options before we kneel down to pray.
Yet God is the only one who can take all our problems away.
Everything has to be us first, cause we think we’re always right.
But there God is again, right beside us when we’re crying in the middle of the night.
Choosing other things first and putting him last when all he did was love us.
He didn’t ever one time harm us yet in Him we don’t place our trust.
He makes himself available and we still treat him like he’s no one.
His arms are always open, yet to him we never run.
God is, and God will always be
And I don’t know about you but I’m giving him all of me.
He is the only one I know that loves me in spite of me
And though I don’t always please him I know God got me.
