Rainy Day...^_^

I looked up high above.
Saw the blue sky fading to grey.
Paid attention, listened to the wind blowing.
Whispering to me:"Would You DARE?"
Caught a rain drop on my hand.
Felt it falling on my face.
Took a deep breath.
Felt the wind's fresh smell go into my lungs.
Like washing them from any dirt.
"Freedom!" I felt it filling my soul.
It drew a large smile on my face ^__^
"Would you dare go out and get wet?!"
No hesitation: "Yes, I would!"
Spinning around.
Jumping in a puddle.
And laughing out loud "LOL" while getting wet under the rain...
It's just the greatest feeling I've ever had!
It's a Rainy Day Simply ^_^
So come on out eveybody!
For once in a while.
Forget all about the crowd and judgement.
Just go out, GET WET and have FUN!
Especially Thank the Lord above for this precious gift.
Pray God to keep this year as beautiful as this day.
Full of laughter, joy and success.

I love rain too.Only when it's within it's limits.LOL. The many things it protrays and the many things it brings to memory is just wonderful.

Yup I guess so ^_^ lol I love rain too. But i'm so so happy to know that my poems have such a power! I'm so glad to know that you and anyone who read them liked my work, cuz after all that's all we're looking for, let people hear what our hearts are saying cuz I always say that Poems are The Heart's Lyrics. This is a really great poem that is very original, regarding rain as something that nourishes and sustains rather than depresses and weighs down. Well done! I love it!

I like this! it makes me feel like a child who waits optimistically for the rain to pour down so I can play! nice imagery, I can even smell the rain!
