Everyone says they'd be there for me
but not one of them was
There for me when I was gasping for
air ,crying on the floor
because I had gained weight or
when someone forgot to answer a text
Everyone was there for me
when I had concert tickets
or had free passes to a theme park
so I don't want to hear one person
say they'd be there because
I already know they won't be.
