i found this quote in City of Bones, i believe, by Cassandra Clare the quote is:

"The measure of love is to love without measure."
--Saint Augustine

Wilderness is where we start with wildlife and natives about.
Then came the explorers, Pilgrims too
Who brought with them faith and knowledge of new,
Facing hardships through the seasons,
Winter blankets the lands in white powder.
Summer warms thy lands brining wildlife out and berries about.
Fall cools and covers the land in reds and oranges, browns and greens too.
While, Spring brings a new life and beauty to all.
Help from the Natives brings agriculture to thy new comers
Hunters and trappers are next, brining weapons of new and wildlife knowledge to those before.
Last frontier is where we now are
With fields and plains few and far between
America is now our name
Opportunity is what we sought
A new start,
A melting pot is what was found
With freedoms and liberties now set before us.
A country housing heroes and heroes passed
Fighting for freedom and liberties the heroes’ choice
American’s are those they serve.
American’s are what we are
America is our country
