I can't stop my thoughts, they're like a never ending tome of insults. I've become overwhelmed with negativity. I'm shaking like a flag caught in a tornado. Tears stream down my face, and puddle in the crevasse of my collar bone. My eyes are on fire, but the rest of me is ice cold. My heart feels like the short fuse, lit, and ready to explode. Breathing as become a struggle, it's as if I just ran a long-distance race at full speed. And to think all this is happening because I had to read to the class. Once I saw all there eyes on me, my heart started to go into overdrive. That anxious feeling started to seep through me until it possessed my whole body, becoming a full scale attack. There's no halting the anxiety attack once it commences. All I can do now is wait for my body to lose it's strength, so the shaking ceases and my tears go desiccant. But until that occurs I will be trapped in this anxious state of mental chaos.
