the house on the hill

wore up and down

saw the same thing

till all come r'oun

ill finish the race

and fight till morn

but when I awake

ill find you torn

listen some more

im not yet complete

it will take some time

but you have awhile

ill send my regrets

im still taking bets

I wont wait till the morn

when new life be born

the war needs more blood

the race needs more speed

I tell you not to worry

but im not to say

you still be fightin

the war long lost

the race long gone

give up all hope

its a losers life

a winners song

we'll begin anew

fight a different battle

the house on the hill

its there still

you try to decrypt

an impossibility in task

don't fight the battle

its already been lost

I gave up ages ago

we lost a life time ago

the rubble on the hill

didn't last long

it fell to the soldier

that gave up the war

destroyed by the hunger

biting inside

the house down below

stands no more

the bridge connected

begins breakin unexpected

that's not the path

path distorted downward

twisted, bending straight

follows every soul dejected

I walk along searching

down

searching for a hill

once told.

home once, apon a time

you believed that song

didn't want to be bold

afraid of being strong

faith wouldn't hold
the will has survived

battle goes on

race continues

decide yourself

when you crack

will you mend

will you snap

don't wait for others

don't be pulled down

arise, fight by the leaders side

we will guide

now begin

falling hard,

slammed into that mold

you thought to old

to make you this cold

break free

make your eyes see

the house on the hill

stands tall

the race begins anew

battlegrounds reappear

sides clearly defined

purpose revived

i am finished

now you begin
