Record On Repeat

A record on repeat, this eternity is becoming,
Though not what thought to be;
The record is scratched, broken,
Barely being held together.
It screeches as it spins:
No beginning,
No end.
It doesn’t stop,
It doesn’t start.
It’s on-going with a tune
Which doesn’t send shivers down my spine-
It sends earthquakes.
They dislocate every disk in my back,
One by one.
And it’s message scares me to death.
