When I die, will you be sad?
Not because you feel bad
About what you did when I was alive
Not because you just
Knew me a little bit through my life

When I die, you should be broken
Your other half gone with the wind
Who will you turn to
when you think something is funny?

When I lay dying you should cry
until the sun does the same
until there is nothing left in you
until my soul is at rest

When it is, you will know
You will know because yours is at rest too
Because you have moved on with your life
With me and us in mind

When you die you can join me
Join me in heaven as I
Ride through the gates
worry free, soul free

Everything at rest
Everything at rest
with my sleeping beauty
Yours and my sleeping beauty
