Nightmares

Tell me this is a nightmare
I am ready to wake up
I hope reality is brighter
This hurts more than a cut.
You know my weaknesses
You know my strengths
But yet you choose to leave me tearless
This feeling is intense.
You were right,
Between love and hate there is only one step,
I guess that’s where we stand.
I’m not scared of nightmares
While I sleep,
Reality is a nightmare
Itself.
