All the ghosts of christmas past
all the things that will never last
all the strained smiles all the masks
this is what I see
weary parents crippled and old
beggers lining the streets
poor children faces blue and cold
dreaming of what they would eat
All the faces and stories untold
fly before me as if to say behold
for on this day
all the worlds ugliness must be pushed away

HOPE
