Silence
Silence says
More than you think.
You can tell so much
About a person.
By how much they speak,
And how much they don’t.
Silence tells
More than you’ll ever know.
It tells what you’ve been through,
And who you are.
It tells your confidence,
And what you’ve seen.
Silence screams,
Even in the loudest of noise.
For it shows
Just how strong you are.
It shows your weakness,
Weaving an ever-silent story.
Silence is rarely ever just silent,
For it holds so very much.
And tells a story
To those who will listen.
Silence shows and says
More than you’ll ever know.
