All I wanted was a nap
Instead I'm a bed for my cat
He's lying on me fast asleep
I cannot even count my sheep
He's purring right there on my chest
I really need to get some rest
I cannot take this a minute more
So I'll push him off and shut the door

recently in English we've been looking at Ogden Nash poems and it inspired me to write a fun silly poem about a cat.
