Where has the Time Gone

Oh no time! Why must you push me to grow.
I am not ready to be an adult,
You cannot push me into doing so.
I will be young and fresh as the result.
There is nothing that can stand in my way.
Except for you oh unwanted measure.
No I am not ready and wish to stay,
such a fine age with ultimate pleasure.
I will leap around your obstacle course.
Sure as sugar that I won’t be misled.
If you would just stop your ultimate force.
I will not succumb early to the bed.
I hope you understand my demand, time.
You cannot make me grow. No, Not this time.
