The silence rips into my head.
Like hungry wolves
that haven't eaten in days.

The smoke
fills my lungs..
Kind of like you used to do,
on rainy days.

I'm often left alone
with the silence and smoke.
And suddenly….
I'm aware that i'm a bad person.

With no soul to blame but my own.

Most of my writing is dark, some might even say depressing. But I find writing poetry therapeutic. Paper gives me somewhere to spill my thoughts.
