I would and will do many things to make my community a better

place. Many people in my community pollute, steal, and do other things to

harm the people and landscape around me. Thousands of factories kill the

ecosystem and dump waste in the rivers and lakes. There are also thousands

of thefts each year in the U.S.A. These two main reasons harm my community

today: polluting and stealing.

The first reason is theft. Theft enormously affects my community

because many won’t move into the city because of the theft rates. Another

reason that theft is a big deal is that if someone steals a product, it causes the

selling price to go up for the other innocent civilians. If a carjacker steals a

motor vehicle, it causes that person’s insurance rates to become higher. Many

people will move, but they’ve already become a victim to the crime.

The second and last reason is pollution. Pollution and theft are similar

to a community in a lot of ways. One of these reasons is that they both force

people to move from their community and forces some to stay away from

that community. Pollution not only effects the environment, it also affects the

selling price of a house’s selling price. Most people won’t move into a city

with a high pollution amount unless a house there sells for a low amount of

cash.
We can do many things to lower or stop these two things. We can

protest to the government to make stricter laws for theft and can put signs

up to try to stop pollution in the cities. In conclusion, we can stop pollution

and theft to make our community a better place by working together.
