Lightning Storm
Lightning strikes again
Bang boom crack
As we search anxiously and excited
Waiting to see it again
We're up 'till midnight
It's dark
we are filled with fright
Still waiting, waiting
For the ivory colored bolt
To strike again
Like a God
Sitting on his throne
Angry,
Steaming mad,
Furious
As we sit curious.
We are broken hearted
When our action-packed night ends
But we must return to our lives
No time for leisure activities
We just stay working
Waiting
Until
Lightning strikes again
