I did it to them
I made them upset
I forced them to have to take actions
Why couldn’t I have listened?
Been good instead of disobedient?
I’m sorry mom
For making you believe
I don’t care
I’m going to make it up to you
I’m going to pretend I'm alright
I’ll hide my feelings
Secure my thoughts
Present the illusion
That my heart hasn’t diminished
I’ll hide my pain
I’ll exclude myself
To lower your stress
I’ll keep my mouth shut
So I won’t break the silence
I’ll fake that smile
You’d die to see
But I would die
To make everyone’s life easy
