They want me to pick a pathway, a job for my future
But I don’t even know what I’ll wear tomorrow
Tomorrow, the sun will come up tomorrow? Right?
But what if it doesn’t
What if we’re thrust into an apocalyptic world?
And all this time I spent studying I should have spent
Learning to fight, fight zombies
Zombies, aww man I’m like a school zombie
I don’t get enough sleep and I’m only focused on one thing
School and success
I want to be successful
But I don’t want all this pressure.
Pressure, to get good grades,
If I don’t get good grades they won’t let me into a good college
If I don’t go to college
Ill end up flipping burgers at McDonalds
If I work at McDonalds I’ll hate life and
Ill want to quit my job and when I
Quit I’ll have to live on the streets
Homeless
And if I’m homeless ill end up getting mugged
Then I’ll be half dead and homeless
Left to die in the streets
But I have all good grades that wouldn’t happen to me
Would it?
Then then I’m reminded of scholarships
Yeah scholarships that’s a good idea right?
“1000 words could potentially be the key to your future”
I pretty sure my mouth doesn’t even have a filter so how can that be so
I don’t think before I speak
And it gets me into trouble
Trouble, what if I do get in trouble
Then I have no future except for one in jail
And I’ll probably get beat up and die
But I’m a good person.
Right?
“What’s wrong?”
Oh I don’t know I thought about my future for .3 seconds
And now *breaths heavy* I’m having *breaths heavy* a panic *breaths heavy* attack!
I can barely hear them through my panic breaths
“What classes would you like to take next year?”
