Cannot even bring the knight to her knees
For she is Light

King Darkness and the knight named Light
Their war rages on
Both are determined to have their victory
Who will bring down the other?

The king and knight fight on
Their swords of black and white clash
Fighting for dominance
Darkness desires to vanquish Light, but no one can extinguish her fire

Finally, after a long raging battle
The both collapse to the ground from exhaustion
Their skills are matched, equal
Niether can bring the other to their knees

Darkness and Light are equally powerful
King Darkness meets Light's eyes
Her golden eyes are full of pride and courage
And he knows no one can extinguish her fire

Kind Darkness takes Light by the hand
He lifts her up then kneels at her feet
Showing his respect
The courageous knight smiles and motions for Darkness to rise

On his cheek, she leaves a burning kiss
Her fire stains his skin
Light places a gentle hand on the king's
Knowing he nor any other can extinguish her fire

Across the black and white hills they walk
Hand in hand Darkness and Light unite
Together they watch over the lands
The lands of Light and Darkness

Although they were once full of hatred towards one another,
Light and Kind Darkness fall in love
The king asks the knight to be his queen and soon they marry
Still, no one can extinguish their fire

So, upon a hill
Stands a Queen of Light
And a King of Darkness
Their love for each other is stronger than all else

Their burning love
Their burning rule
Their burning light
Everyone knows no one can extinguish their fire
