afraid

I fear not the dark of coming

night

but the cunning of evil

hiding in a guise of

white

I fear not the unknown

but the prospect of never

discovering

what I did not understand

the day before

I fear not the tangible

loneliness

of difference in the crowd

rather, I fear

the day I become one with it

for then

I will never be found.

I always love clever word play - and you've done this exceptionally well. I think this poem really turns ideas on their head and makes you look at it from a new angle. Beautifully written :)
