I Am a New Pair of Shoes

I am a new pair of shoes.
Inviting to a new set of eyes at first glance.
Noticeably intriguing, urging the new set of eyes to explore deeper.
As the new set of eyes transform into an old friend,
they shoes get worn in.
The shoes dirty as the relationship continues.
All worn in, comfortable, and old--
the shoes become a friend.
Traveled through the journey--
there until the end.
