"There is a difference between common sense and intelligence." - My Dad

Everyday you pass strangers in the street,
Mistreating their children, yelling, shouting, hell, maybe at home they beat
on their children,
on those precious miracles from above
and we do nothing, say it isn't our business, it's their choice if they want to love,
or to hate.
But then a girl wants to rid herself of a memory of her life being destroyed
by a man taking her and using her,
and shes just trying to set her life straight.
Suddenly it's against God's plan, we must step in, we must stand
for what's right, whether she chose it or not.
This is the world we live in, a world in which the life they
thought
they would have, is not allowed.
And all those women are cowed
expected to be proud, of this child they didn't choose
because they have to pay their dues.
Reap what they sow
for dressing too provocatively and being in the wrong place at the wrong time, then following what society does
allow.
If this doesn't seem wrong to you,
then you can't be right.
You must be confused,
following other peoples views;
those who have not
experienced
their life being demolished.
They stick to the expectation of adherence.
We'd be changing for the good if all of these unspoken rules were abolished.
