is being almost.
Almost there.
Almost the perfect love.

You said I was worth it.
That I had value.
You said that We were worth it
That we had value.

It was all there..
in front of me and in front of you
all within reach..
But,
Being almost too perfect
Made me doubt.

So..
I ran.
Scared..of almost
Because it was almost bad
I failed to realize it was almost good.
And I was too scared to notice
that 'almost good' was just perfect.

I took away us.
I let it disappear when
the truth came out.

We had the comfort of us,
and I took that away.
so almost will we stay.
almost together.
almost in love.

almost worth it.

if only our risks were lower
and our time slower,
then almost would be of no matter.
I could almost say I love you
and I know you almost could, too.

but that word
is in the way.
