I remember
When we would play
King of the mountain
On your freshly made bed
Mommy would be mad at us
But we wouldn’t care

I remember
How I would let you win
Just to see you shine
When you would say
“I beat my big sis!”

I remember
How your brown hair
Bounced when you would
Run up and hug me
Your big blue eyes
Widened in excitement

But now your image is just
A picture in a frame
And all I can do now
Is remember.

I'm so sorry. I lost my older cousin, and he was like my brother. It's not the sam thing, but it still sucks.

oh my goshness this is a great poem and it is so sad. did Leah Elisabeth die? i loved the end verse it was truly beautiful. Katie you have talent. keep using it .  great job keep up the good work girl.

This poem is great. It is full of raw emotion, and i love that. You have a great talent. You obviously can go deep into the depths of your heart, pull out your emotions, and write it on paper. It has a great message, and is worthy of being published and more. Please, continue to write.
