in loving memory, leah elizabeth MAG

I remember
When we would play
King of the mountain
On your freshly made bed
Mommy would be mad at us
But we wouldn’t care

I remember
How I would let you win
Just to see you shine
When you would say
“I beat my big sis!”

I remember
How your brown hair
Bounced when you would
Run up and hug me
Your big blue eyes
Widened in excitement

But now your image is just
A picture in a frame
And all I can do now
Is remember.

my favorite thing about this writing is how you told us what your talking about without actually saying it in so many words.

Wow.. keep it up! This was absolutley amazing. You had me from smiling to almost in tears. And to be able to control someones emotions in a piece of writing is incredible.

I can't remember it clearly, but it went something like this:

"The past is the past, the future is the furture. But now, now is like a gift, which is why it is called present."

nice :) I like it.

This is a very powerful piece. I'm sorry about your sister, but it sounds like you had a lot of good memories with her. Congrats on getting published.
