Purple

Purple sounds like rain. Pounding hard against a window pane.
Purple sounds like the screaming laughter of a little girl running around in her favorite tutu at her sixth birthday party.
Purple sounds like the slosh of red wine lazily being poured to the brim of a large glass.
Purple sounds like your fingers tapping along on the dashboard to your favorite song in the car when you're all alone.
Purple sounds like the tiny yawn of a newborn baby waking up from a nap.
And sometimes purple sounds like the stillness of almost nothing at all in the brief moment before you finally drift to sleep.
