"I have a dream."- MLK Jr.

In frozen time my heart starts to beat slow

My imagination has me flying, falling, GERONIMO!

It's a long way down, dangerous, skydiving without a lifeline

An almost imminent death calls to me longingly weighs heavy, no lightly, on my mind

Tiny islands like moss-covered turtles draw near

But I'm safe as long as I'm in my mind, as long as I'm here

I sit now on the traintracks the wheels it's horns drawing closer music to my ears thoughts ringing through my mind, as long as I'm here

I can see my fingers glide for the last time across those black and white keys of my old out of tune piano

In this big room I feel so small with my voice loud I hear the echo

I feel like I'm in the crevice of a canyon

Lost and lonely in my personal slum

How grand it'd be if I could imagine something better

But once I was left behind one time to many I lost the ability to remember 'together'

Doors closed all at once and somehow Ive lost all the keys

Two chains hold me down keeping me on my knees

A glimpse I've been given of what could have been gold

But all alone I sit lost the chance now I've grown cold

Broken hearts and scars in only places she could see. She just wanted to feel something.
