Two-Tone Poem
March 31, 2014
Some days I have I feel grey
Full of curiosity and wonder
Like a mouse ready to flee on its journey
Most days I’m forest green
Full of spirit and happiness
When the light shines is when I come alive
So today I’m a free spirit of green
Lots of me is pation blue
Loving and care free
Happy and full of ideas
But deep down there’s another part
Pale red, like a rose dying from life
Shaky and lonely
Scared and terrified
With the sign of fright reflecting in my eyes
Yet to know if it really did happen
My fears are becoming the best of me
