Hoodwink MAG
I love the way
the tall grass caresses
my lower legs
as I run to the crystal
clear stream
feeling the sun soak
into my body
as my copper red hair stands on end.
I enjoy playfully wrestling
with my siblings
nipping and rolling
on the earth.
I hear the clamor of the thriving world around me
which perks up my ears
and excites me
for the next hunt.
Suddenly I am alpha.
Now I must teach my skulk
to play, love, and enjoy
their youth
like I once did.
