Blood makes up eight percent of the body.
A centrifuge separates it into two parts,
Fifty-five percent plasma and forty-five percent cells.
Plasma contains antibodies that react with antigens.
Anti A antibodies react with A antigens,
While Anti B antibodies react with B antigens.
The third antigen is the Rh factor.
Rh comes from the rhesus monkey.
There are four types of blood, Type A, Type B, Type AB, and Type O.
O negative is a universal donor,
And AB positive is a universal recipient.
