Mother i miss you
mother i miss you
i miss your soft kisses
your warm hugs
and your sweet sweet smile
but i had to let you go
had to let all of that go
i said goodbye
with a tear in my eye
i will never see you again
will never be able to visit those wonderful qualities of yours again
i miss you
oh mother how much do i miss you
i try to stay strong for my sisters
for they need someone to look up to
but i break
and i cry
because i miss you
there is still one ounce of hope
in my mind
memories
i may soon forget the sound of your voice
or the way you would walk
but i will never forget how you would
kiss me when i had an injury
hug me when i got scared
or smiled to remind me that you cared
i love you mom
and i miss you
oh mother how much i miss you
