That one.

they say that its normal
yet they offer you assistance
in return, the only thing you give to them is resistance
your brain isn’t right
how the hell is that alright
able to see every direction
but not clear ‘nuf for correction
you see all
but you still fall
wake up unaware of where you are
like driving a car
in a fog
feeling dumber than a hog
just one swallow is the solution
your brain’s just covered in pollution
there’s nothing to lose
it’s not hard to choose
but it is for you
you know the price
and it isn’t all that nice
you’re aware that you can’t think straight
your thoughts can’t validate
they tell you all the time
if only you had focus as your partner in crime
they think success outweighs happiness
it’s worth the inner loneliness
blocking out your own consciousness
making yourself anonymous
to yourself
or their self
you aren’t connected to that thing
any more than a ring
is to a finger
you slide in and out
forget the emotional ups and downs
you’ve only lost ten pounds
it will make your loved ones happy
doesn’t that sound smashing
will replace what you are lacking
who cares if you feel strange
pop a pill
force yourself to change
i don’t need you anyway
