They say time heals all wounds
but is that really true?

Bullied all my life
and still suffering from those words
spit out at me once
now spilled out across my mind
like shattered glass on a cold floor.

Words will make an impact
imprinted in their head
making people insecure,
even those who stand with innocences

People dying.
Those words carried with them.
The darkness will take over
calling their names.

Death, Depression,
the sadness,
telling them to do stupid things
but what do they have to lose right?
Wrong.

Tell them you love them
and never let them go.
Tell them they are worth
the precious life they contain.
Tell them to stop… and change their minds.

Those monsters inside us
live in the shadows.
Those shadows,
Our souls…
slowly turning black.

Taking your problems and insecurities out on others
plants a seed.
One that grows with every attack
and after that single action,
there is no going back.

Angels fly in their glory
shining down from above
their innocence remains
radiating from the skies.

The rain,
their tears falling for their loved ones
and the thunder,
their screams and bottled up hatred
towards the monsters.

Don’t become one of those angels.
If you were ever hurt
just know you are loved.
Family loves you.
Nature loves you.
Friends love you.
I will love you
even if I don’t know you
because you deserve to be loved.

It doesn’t matter who you are
or what you do,
Just always know

You are worth more than any eye can see.
