"Little Brown Dots"

Freckles are slowly breaking my heart.
Little brown dots that lie upon perfection
are always inhabiting my thoughts.
I cherish every moment with those freckles,
helplessly marveling at them.
But they want something better than me,
than my admiration.
Freckles are what keep me up at night;
they haunt my dreams
and make my consciousness a beautiful nightmare.
In that nightmare,
freckles love other freckles,
and my heart can;t help but breaking.
