Her tan hands clasp together
As she kneels down to
the bible in prayer.
She has demons in her head,
I remember her saying,
So she decided to pray instead.
I turn the slightest bit
And say to my best friend
In a hurried whisper, “Are you done?”
She smiles and says with a grin,
“Done? I’ve only just begun.”
